Where does the whiteness of the snow go, when it melts?

Second post today!
yaaaaaaaaaay, well, i have to congrat myself cause I know, nobody will. I have to do this because few things changed since the beginning of this account, and i hope it'll work better than before : i bought my new camera, a Canon 400D with a 50 that opens at 1.8...great isn't it?
Anyway, i started recently to do shootings session because I have an art project : that's why few pictures are coming next.
